Differences between meanings of trust in countries with democratic traditions and in post-totalitarian countries raise questions about the ways in which history, culture, and social psychology shape the nature and development of political phenomena.
Despite the obvious strengths, I find several aspects of the book somewhat frustrating. To start with, the title – Change Management in Transition Economies – is misleading, as the setting for the majority of studies (11 chapters) is Poland.
